Refund & Cancellation Policy
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, potentially leading to the need to postpone your surgery. However, please note that such changes not only impact your surgeon but also affect other patients and the surgical staff, including but not limited to the anesthesiologist, circulators, and surgical assistants. Their time is valuable, and we ask for your consideration and courtesy.
You are permitted to reschedule your procedure one time, free of charge, as long as you provide notice at least one month prior to your scheduled surgery date.
In order to cancel or reschedule your procedure, a Formal Cancellation Notice must be submitted at least one month before your surgery date (NO EXCEPTIONS). If you fail to do so, a nonrefundable fee of $1000.00 will be applied, which will be retained by CHic Plastic Surgery, Inc. This fee will not be reimbursed under any circumstances.
Additionally, a $1500.00 Operating Room (OR) Fee will be charged if your surgery is canceled on the day of surgery due to a positive test for drug use, alcohol, nicotine, or any illicit substances. Your Surgical Coordinator will assist in rescheduling your procedure once your balance has been paid in full.
If you experience any symptoms of illness such as a cold, flu, or COVID-19, or if you have cuts, scrapes, sores that haven't healed, or any changes in your overall health before surgery, you must contact our practice immediately. Such health changes may require your surgery to be rescheduled by your surgeon or anesthesiologist.
All Medical Clearance and Preoperative Testing must be submitted to our office at least 10 days prior to surgery.
If your preferred doctor is handling your preoperative testing, please ensure that your Pre-Operative Clearance and physical examination are submitted in a timely manner to avoid delays. Failure to submit this information on time may result in the postponement of your surgery, and rescheduling may take time due to our fully booked schedule.
If your surgery is canceled on the procedure date due to providing false or misleading information about your BMI (Weight and Height) to your doctor, a Cancellation Fee will apply. If your procedure is canceled because of an undisclosed High BMI during your pre-operative evaluation, you will be subject to a $1000.00 Fee.
